Adventurer skill showing number of items

The Adventurer is one of the available Classes. It is unlocked with 50 Hero Points or by opening an Extravagant Chest. The Adventurer gains a bonus to item identification chance, gains levels in every stat, and can see how many items a breakable object, enemy or allied NPC is holding.

Abilities[]

The Adventurer is able to locate off-screen treasure chests at a distance of up to 20 squares off-screen and +50% higher base (before intellect) appraisal rating than most other classes. They also start with 1 level in swimming, and 2 levels in lockpicking and mountain climbing.

Dash:

  • Requirement: None
  • Cost: 2 Stamina, drains Stamina as you move.
  • For up to 20 turns movement speed is increased.
  • On Maniac Mode Dash only lasts up to 8 turns.
  • Any other action besides movement will cancel effect.

Jump:

  • Requirement: None
  • Cost: 12 Stamina
  • Move to a tile two spaces in the direction you are facing.
  • Ability will fail if the landing tile is a mountain, water, or if there is a wall in the way. (Plus; Can now be used to dive into water. You will land on the first tile of mountain if there is one in the way (stamina expensive but time saving way to move through mountain of your mountain climbing skill is low but your Int &/or stamina are high). )

Shadow Bind:

  • Learned at level 10
  • Stops the movement of 1 target for 6 turns
  • Range 4 tiles
  • Cost 10 Stamina
  • Does not work on opponents with Barrier

Shadow Running:

  • Learned from the Ninja NPC.
  • Costs 1500 Silver to learn.
  • Costs 10 stamina, 15% energy.
  • Drain stamina while in use.
  • Move for 30 turns without enemies being able to detect you. Any action other than moving cancels.

Note: Shadow Running is currently bugged as the ability is supposed to grant 30 turns of being hidden but it only allows 20 turns.
